You can find out the status of your mail-in ballot at the Secretary of State Office website.
A few tips when searching for your ballot:
Allow for application processing time. If you submitted your ballot within the last several business days, it may still be processing.
Enter your first and last name exactly as they appeared on your voter registration or absentee ballot application.
If your last name includes punctuation, try searching with and without it.
If your name includes a suffix (e.g. Jr., Sr., III), do not include your suffix in the last name field.
If you aren't sure which ID number you used on your absentee ballot application, try separate searches for each ID type.
-
Your ballot will not count if it is received after Election Day.
Returning your ballot in person
You can return your ballot in person no later than 3 p.m. on Election Day to the election office that sent your ballot. You can drop off ballots for up to three other voters. You will need to show identification with name and signature when returning a ballot for someone else. Some voters may also return it in one of the designated ballot drop box locations. You may not drop your ballot off at your polling place on election day.
Returning your ballot by mail
Your ballot must be received by Election Day or it will not be counted. Return your ballot by mail or package delivery service (such as FedEx or UPS).
If you change your mind and would like to vote in person on or before Election Day, you may do so -- simply tear up your absentee ballot. Do not vote twice.

Redistricting is the process of redrawing the boundaries of election districts to ensure that the people of each district are equally represented.
The state is constitutionally required to redraw the boundaries of its voting districts to reflect population growth and shifts over the past decade. The latest redistricting was done in 2022 based on the results of the 2020 Census.
Mary Frances Clardy is the DFL-endorsed candidate for the newly redrawn District 53A — which includes Inver Grove Heights, Sunfish Lake, Lilydale and portions of West Saint Paul and Mendota Heights — in the Minnesota House of Representatives.
You can view the new 53A district map online, and find your new polling place here.
