Summary of Accomplishments

    • HF0428 - Provides West St. Paul with the tax authority to improve the former YMCA property site.

    • HF1184 - Approves funding for a grant to provide parents of special needs children access to parent-to-parent peer support programs.

    • HF1360 - Provides increased funding for MN Safe Schools Initiative and expands authorization to include cyber security measures.

    • HF1740 - Funds a Veterans Memorial Gateway Bike Trail from Inver Grove Heights to Lebanon Park. Will be the first veteran’s memorial in MN to honor Native Americans who served in the armed forces.

    • HF1761 - Provides funding for career and technical training related student organizations.

    • HF1806 - Mandates all children in MN entering schools must be assessed for kindergarten readiness and provides funds to do so.

    • HF1852 - Funds an Alzheimer's Public Information Program

    • HF2068 - Provides funds for the Sanneh Foundation to fund youth mentorship programs.

    • HF2401 - Funds railway and highway safety improvements and pedestrian and bicycle trails along Veterans Memorial Greenway.

    • HF2402 - Provides funds for the Dakota County Regional Behavioral Health Facility.

    • HF2751 - Provides funds to expand the capacity of the Office of Ombudsman for Long-Term Care.

    • HF2841 - Funds West St. Paul Sanitary Sewer lift station No. 4 to improve the wastewater infrastructure.

    • HF0429 - Obtains funding to build a fully accessible playground within Inver Grove Heritage Village Park

    • HF0431 - Authorizes funding for improvements to the Inver Hills Community College campus.

    • HF1739 - Provides funding to repair and upgrade Inver Grove Heights 117th Street.

    • HF2767 - 117th Street Reconstruction Dakota County; highway improvement funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

    • HF1773 - Authorizes an increase in annual funding for English Language support for students and provide resources for their teachers.

    • HF0932 - Authorizes a grant for the MN Council on Economic Education to provide financial literacy programs to children.

    • HF1102 - Provides funding for Nonpublic Pupils for counseling services.

    • HF0430 - Authorizes a Beirut Veteran’s license plate to be issued. The plate will be available for veterans who served as multinational peacekeepers in Beirut, Lebanon.

    • HF0527 - Establishes protections for health care workers. Includes making it a fourth-degree felony to assault a health care worker and requires the Commissioner of Health to develop education and awareness initiatives to address burnout and mental health issues.

    • HF1058 - Provide grants to prepare those interested in becoming teachers.

    • HF1220 - Requires school districts to release data on performance of 9th grade students. The purpose is to evaluate whether they are on track to graduate.

    • HF1267 - Authorizes local authorities to determine certain requirements including the length of the school year, hours of instruction requirements and e-learning requirements online instruction.

    • HF1774 - Authorizes students in alternative schools or credit recovery programs to access postsecondary education options and summer courses.

    • HF1928 - Funds Dakota Country pedestrian and bicycle trails and highway safety improvement projects

    • HF1974 - Provides funds to aid school libraries.

    • HF2153 - Fund ActiveEd Walkabout Program to facilitate teacher interaction with students.

    • HF2515 - Provides a grant to YWCA West St. Paul for girls and youth programming.
